I am still here in the early days of developing my coaching business. I am learning so many things – the skills of good coaching, the importance of networking and the need for good organisation and record keeping, to name just a few!
However, I think the most important thing, which has been gradually developing throughout this journey, is to have a clear vision for the business I wish to develop, why it is important and what success will look like.
I now feel ready to try to share my vision, which has been shaped in no small part by my coaching practice and feedback from a number of colleagues, friends and friends of friends – many thanks to you all!
I want to create a coaching business that enables parents and educationalists to see the strengths that they have, and be able to use these to find their own way forward to supporting their young people with confidence.
In my experience teaching and parenting are two of the most difficult, but most important roles in our society, and I want help more people thrive in these roles. Success in my vision, would be for my clients to feel happier and more confident following my coaching, and for them to know the best ways for them to support their young people. Ultimately I want Caladh Coaching to become regarded as a leading provider of coaching in this field.
