Confident Parenting: Understanding and Supporting Your Neurodivergent Child
10am – 12pm | Saturday 23 May 2026 | Southside Community Centre, Edinburgh
Join me for this in‑person workshop for parents, carers and supporters of neurodivergent children.
I bring over 25 years of experience as a teacher, ASN teacher and educational advisor – as well as a parent of my own quirky kids! Together, we’ll build a clear, compassionate understanding of neurodiversity and explore how it shows up in everyday family life.
We’ll look beneath anxious or distressed behaviours, explore the impact of sensory needs, and make sense of regulation and wellbeing—helping you respond with greater clarity and confidence.
This workshop is practical, realistic, and non‑judgemental. You’ll learn strategies you can use immediately at home, including:
- Co‑regulation tools to support emotional calm
- Sensory support ideas tailored to everyday situations
- Ways to reduce triggers and increase predictability, easing stress for the whole family
You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of your child, along with the confidence and tools to create a calmer, more connected family life.
Caladh Parent Coaching is pleased to launch this new two‑hour parenting workshop, focused on evidence‑informed strategies you can apply straight away. The session is structured, supportive, and designed to help you respond calmly and consistently—especially when things feel challenging.
To celebrate the launch, the first cohort is available at a reduced introductory rate. You’ll receive the full workshop experience and materials, take part in a small, supportive group, and enjoy refreshments on the day.
Spaces are limited. Sign up on eventbrite now!
